What it is
Castile soap is a true liquid soap (not a detergent) made from four ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, filtered rainwater, and potassium hydroxide (lye).
How you can use it
Castile soap is found in these recipes
- All-purpose soap spray
- Wool and delicates wash
- Dishwashing liquid
- Hand wash
- Soap wash for people and pets
Add it to water to make a soapy solution that can clean cars, windows, outdoor areas.
Why can it go cloudy?
Castile soap can become cloudy or develop a white sediment during colder weather. This is completely normal and happens because of the high olive oil content. As temperatures rise, the soap will return to normal.
