Collection: Glass Jars

Solutions for storing your cleaning ingredients and products as well as anything else.

FUN FACT

Glass was the first packaging ordinary people could afford

For centuries a glass vessel had to be cast in a mould, then ground and polished by hand, which took tens of hours and put glass firmly in the luxury bracket. Around 2,000 years ago glassmakers on the eastern Mediterranean coast worked out that molten glass could be inflated, and the same job took minutes. Within a century a glass cup in Rome cost about a copper coin, and everyday households could finally store and carry their food in it.
