Scrub Tablets

Scrub Tablets

This article will show you how to make a scrub tablet. Just like a dishwasher tablet but made to any size or shape you like. Then use it scrub ovens, pots or anything that needs a good scrub clean.

First, let's talk about what scrub tablets are. Essentially, they're small, compact cleaning tablets that dissolve in water to create a powerful cleaning solution. They're made with natural ingredients, so they're safe for you, your family, and the environment.

So how do you make them? It's very simple.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Washing Soda
  • Sodium Percarbonate
  • Coconut Soap Flakes
  • Borax (optional)
  • Bicarb (optional)
  • Tap water
  • Essential oil (optional)

Just use equal parts of each powder ingredient and scoop into the bowl a teaspoon at a time until you have enough to fill the mould you're using.

The instructions:

  1. Start by mixing the powder ingredients in a bowl, taking care not to breathe in the raised dust. Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil and slowly add water a teaspoon at a time. Mix everything together until you get a thick, paste-like consistency.
  2. Then, spoon the mixture into your silicone mould, pressing it down firmly. Let the tablets dry for at least 24 hours until they're completely hardened.
  3. Once your tablets are ready, simply drop one into a bowl or sink filled with hot water. Wait for it to dissolve, and then use the solution to scrub away at any dirty dishes, pots, or pans. The tablets work great on tough stains and grime, and they're gentle enough to use on delicate surfaces.

Not only are these scrub tablets convenient and effective, but they're also much more eco-friendly than traditional sponges and brushes. They're made with natural ingredients, so you don't have to worry about any harmful chemicals or synthetic fragrances.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a convenient, eco-friendly way to clean up tough messes in the kitchen, give our DIY scrub tablets a try. They're easy to make, effective, and safe for you and the environment. Happy green cleaning!
