First of all, let's talk about what scrub tablets are. These versatile gems are like dishwasher tablets but customisable in size and are the ultimate solution for tackling stubborn grime on various surfaces.

How to make them

It's actually pretty simple. Here's what you'll need:

INGREDIENTS

- 1/2 cup  (125g) Washing Soda

- 1/2 cup (125g) Sodium Percarbonate

- 1 -2 tablespoons Coconut Soap Flakes

- Approx. 25ml Tap water

- Essential Oils (optional)

* You can play around with the mix and also include Borax and Bicarb or simply use our Laundry Washing Powder Recipe Mix

TOOLS

- Bowl

- Spoon

- Measuring Cups

- ice cube tray or suitable mould

MAKES

For perspective this will make roughly 12 tablets the size of a standard ice cube or dishwasher tablet. However you can to any size, mould you desire.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Start by mixing the powder ingredients in a bowl, taking care not to breathe in the raised dust.

2. Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil and slowly add water a teaspoon at a time. You want the mixture to just combine but not be wet and dilute.

3. Spoon the mixture into your silicone mould, pressing it down firmly. Let the tablets dry for at least 24 hours until they're completely hardened.

How to use them

Simply wet the tablet and apply it directly to the surface you wish to clean. Watch as it activates upon contact with water, releasing its potent cleaning agents to tackle even the toughest stains with ease.
