FAQ

How much should I use in the sink?
This is totally up to your discretion, but I usually spoon in 1-2 tablespoons & add more if needed.

How do I turn them into dishwasher tablets?
You will need an ice-cube tray, bowl, spoon & some water. In your bowl add approx 1 tablespoon of the Dish Powder for each tablet (so 12 tablets = 12 tablespoons approx). Then add approx 4-5 tablespoons of water & spread it evenly through the mixture. You can add more water as required, but don't make it too wet, it should resemble wet sand & hold when pressed together. Then simply spoon into your ice cube tray, compress & let set. P.S You can add essential oils if you like too.

Is this harsh on my hands?
Well that depends on how sensitive you are, but it is an alkali solution so direct hands in the sink for a very long time may start to cause some minor irritation. You could use gloves or increase the soap & reduce the washing soda proportions.

Is this safe for septic tanks?
The ingredients are mild, safe & biodegradable which should not affect the bacteria in septic tanks like harsh chemicals can.

How is this packaged?
Your goodies will be packaged plastic free Earth Bags made of brown recycled paper, has a corn based 100% natural biofilm lining & tin-tie for easy opening & resealing. It's also home compostable & recyclable. Otherwise we have a glass option with our Apothecary Jar
