- Sodium Percarbonate
- Tub/ bath for soaking
- As required
What is Sodium Percarbonate?
It's a natural powerful Oxybleach made from Hydrogen Peroxide (a natural hospital grade disinfectant) and Washing Soda. It's the key ingredient in Napisan & stain removers.
Is it safe in colours?
Ye it sure is, in fact it brightens most coloured fabrics. However some dyes will run no matter what you use, so read the labels, test & wash new clothes separately first.
Can I wash in cold water?
You really need a min 30 degrees (which is usually really hot tap water) to 'activate' the power of Oxybleach. Commercial products that offer lower water temperatures usually have a synthetic bleach activator.
Oven racks, range-hood filters & other greasy items
Yes because of the washing soda avoid using ion aluminium
Is this safe for septic tanks?
The ingredients are mild, safe & biodegradable which should not affect the bacteria in septic tanks like harsh chemicals can.
